Our Strategic Plan

2021-2026

We currently provide best practice support for over 900 clients living with ME/CFS, Long COVID and related conditions in Auckland, and more online throughout Aotearoa. 

 

Due to demand, we plan to grow our services to reach a greater number of clients in a way that meets their needs.

2022-23 Goals

Our Mission:

For every person with ME/CFS, Long COVID and related conditions to experience high quality health care and community support, free from stigma and discrimination.​

Goal 1

Build Capacity

Initiatives:

  • Recruit another Client Support Coordinator

  • Hire a Manager

  • Increase funding to $120,000

  • Streamline cloud storage and donor management systems

Goal 2

Grow Services

  • Develop Long COVID service delivery

  • Introduce interactive self-management programme

  • Establish a resource library on our website

  • Develop information packs for new clients

  • Streamline healthcare referrals

  • Redevelop our brand

  • Relaunch ME Auckland FB page as ME Support

  • Refresh our website

  • Deliver quarterly newsletters

  • Implement client surveys

  • Create video stories of ME/CFS and Long COVID

  • Launch "Friends of ME Auckland" initiative

  • Strengthen national collaboration to share resources and improve outcomes for people with ME

  • Develop Long COVID support relationships
