Professor Tate not only talks about his Long COVID and ME/CFS research, but his experiences and insights as a parent of a child with severe ME/CFS. He shares details of his research looking into the similarities of ME/CFS and Long COVID and why a large minority of people are susceptible to coming down with post infectious illnesses. Professor Tate also talks about his research over the past 10 years to understand the molecular signatures that cause ME/CFS symptoms and his success finding a defect in energy production, dysfunction in the immune inflammatory response, and an unstable epigenetic code.
